The ReDesignEarth! project brings together six of the most sensitized and active schools in both areas of human rights and environment. All the participating organisations were chosen after a thorough discussion through eTwinning platform and showed that they had considerable previous experience and competences in working on similar and international projects as described in section D, of our application. The successful Partners have experience in the delivery and management of (EU) projects and their contact persons are shown to be excellent communicators, enterprising and innovative, with strong interpersonal skills, high degree of flexibility, have a high degree of social and cultural awareness, able to multitask and have a “can-do” attitude and finally shown to have the ability to work on own initiative. Also project partners were chosen based on a desire to have a wide geographical coverage so as to maximise the generalizability of results & to increase the robustness & thus value of findings from the project. The Associate Partners were selected in order to maximize the impact of the expected results of the project. In addition to that, the associated partners committed to support the promotion of the project in terms of disseminating informational material and, to communicate the objectives to both internal and external interested persons and organisations.

The primary motivation for establishing this project, as conceived by Laniteio Gymnasium, came from the perceived idea that Arts are what make us most human, most complete as people and evidence of its effectiveness in reducing student dropout, raising student attendance, developing better team players, fostering a love for learning, improving greater student dignity, enhancing student creativity, and producing a more prepared citizen for the workplace for tomorrow is a part of all partners school cultural heritage.
